News from VYAN.
Stages we've stood on. Rooms we've been in. The decisions we're asking enterprise leaders to make differently — and the public moments where the argument is made out loud.
Plans Break. Policies Hold.
From firefighting to governing — in forty-five minutes.
Forecasts have gotten better. Control towers light up in real time. Network inventory visibility has never been clearer. The Tuesday morning war room hasn't gone away.
The reason: every signal — a sharper forecast, a better dashboard, a clearer view of what's where — still feeds into a planning paradigm built for a more predictable world. Sequential stages. Single-future solves. Static master-data parameters. Single-objective optimization. Plans, not policies.
This webinar is about how decisions get made — not how signals get sharper.
- 01The seven specific failures of today’s sequential deterministic planning paradigm.
- 02What a decision policy is, and why CSCOs should stop asking "what’s our plan" and start asking "which policy are we running."
- 03Policy Value Add — the dollarized metric the CFO can take to the Board.
- 04Decision Resilience Scoring — stress-testing today’s commits before you sign them.
- 05A first public look at the VYAN Decision Twin.
Winning Decisions at NextGen SCM Summit — Delhi
From a national platform to the same single argument: plans break, policies hold.
VYAN joined India's premier supply chain and logistics summit at the NextGen SCM Summit 2026 — Delhi Edition, presented by NextGen SCM Connect. The full-day event brought together CSCOs, supply chain heads, and senior planning leaders from India's manufacturing, CPG, pharma, automotive, and retail sectors.
Founder and CEO Ashutosh Bansal led Winning Decisions: Excellence under Uncertainty — on what comes after deterministic planning, why the paradigm built for a predictable world is structurally unable to handle today's demand volatility, supplier risk, and geopolitical shocks, and what a decision intelligence layer looks like when it is built from the substrate up rather than bolted onto a legacy stack.
Delhi marked VYAN's second major India platform of the year, following ChainXpo in Mumbai the previous month — part of a deliberate cadence of senior-leader conversations across India's largest planning communities.

From a two-day floor to a single line that stuck: planners don't plan, they react.
VYAN joined the supply chain industry at ChainXpo 2026, hosted by the Institute of Supply Chain Management (ISCM Forums) on April 28–29 at the NESCO Exhibition Center in Mumbai. The two-day flagship drew India's largest brands alongside the planning technology ecosystem.
Founder and CEO Ashutosh Bansal presented Winning Decisions: Excellence under Uncertainty on the main stage, walking the audience through the structural problem the planning category has not solved: senior supply chain talent spending 50% or more of every day clearing exceptions from a system that has no memory of yesterday's plan — and the commercial cost of accepting rogue orders that breach margin floors without anyone seeing the cost-to-serve at decision time.
“Planners don't plan. They mostly react.”
The session demonstrated how VYAN treats decision policies as first-class artifacts, prices variability into the optimization objective, and computes order-line cost-to-serve in real time — so a customer pull-in inside lead time arrives with its surcharge already calculated, not as a quarter-end surprise.
